Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Now you have a lot of decisions to make about who will help you make your wedding day both memorable and enjoyable. The person you choose to photograph your wedding can have a major impact in both regards. You need a photographer who is not only able to give you high quality photos, but can also help you to create photos in a way that enhances the joy of the event. Your wedding day is supposed to be FUN, and you need a photographer who recognizes that. Remember that you will be spending virtually your entire wedding day with your photographer, so it is important to find someone whose personality meshes well with your own. I have been photographing weddings for more than 30 years. In that time I have shot hundreds of weddings, under a huge variety of situations. I feel that my job is not just to take pictures, but to do whatever I can to lower the stress level so you can simply enjoy your day. My goal is to not only take the best photos that I am capable of, but to do so in such a way that the photos are enjoyable, not simply a necessary ordeal. Unlike many photographers who only offer a single "one size fits all" package, I offer a variety of digital wedding packages, and can also custom design packages in special situations. So look through my packages, and if you don't see exactly what you want give me a call so we can discuss a customized package just for you. With all of my wedding packages I place your photos on a private website, where your photos can be seen by family and friends. You will receive all of the optimized files in full-resolution on a USB thumbdrive, and with most of my packages you will also receive 4x6 prints of all of your photos. I like to play with some of the photos, and will turn some to B&W or Sepia tone, as well as using some special effects when I think it would look cool. If you tell me ahead of time the kind of effects that you like I am happy to do more of this during the post-processing of the files. One more thing - and this is important! I spend many hours on post-process editing/optimizing ALL of the images that you receive as prints and as files. I never used to feel a need to mention this on my site, because it seemed obvious to me that any true professional photographer would of course optimize their images before giving them to their clients. But I have found that a large number of "professional photographers" do not take this step. Be sure to ask anyone you are considering to photograph this extremely important day in your life whether they include editing (also called post-processing) of the images as part of the package they are selling. Travel - Local
For weddings within the greater Seattle area, I have a "no travel fee" zone for any location within one hour driving time - roughly from Tacoma in the south to Marysville in the north. Outside that range, I charge $40/hour for travel time (both ways). Any tolls, ferry fees or parking fees will be billed at cost when photos are delivered.
Travel - Distance
I am available to travel anywhere in the world to photograph your wedding. I have photographed weddings in Massachusetts, Vermont, Michigan, Oregon and California in addition to the hundreds of weddings I have photographed in Washington. I charge only my actual expenses (travel, meals, lodging, etc) along with a small daily traveling fee on top of my package prices.

Washington State sales tax will be added to all prices. All prices are subject to change without notice. Tolls, parking, etc. will be charged at cost. Non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve a date. Second payment of $500 is due two months before the wedding date. Balance of payment is due not less than two weeks prior to wedding date.
