This past Friday evening I was at the Jackson Browne concert, held at St. Michelle Winery. When I got home at a bit before 11PM I found a message on my voicemail. I had gotten a call while I was at the concert from a man named Daniel who was getting married at the Issaquah Courthouse the next day (Saturday) in the morning. He needed a photographer and wanted to know if I was available. I did have Saturday open until mid-afternoon, so I was available if he still needed someone.
This call had been recorded a bit after 6PM, so I was pretty sure that he would have managed to find a photographer. But after thinking about it I decided to call him just in case, because I really didn’t want him to be without a photographer if he had had no luck in his search. By now it was ~11:20PM, and I was a little concerned that I might wake Daniel but went ahead and made the call.
And it was a good thing that I did! Daniel had not had any luck with his search for a photographer, and was very excited to hear I was available.
I’ll tell more of the story when I do my posting on this wedding, but for now I will leave you with two photos from the day.
