Sneak Peek – Lucinda’s Bat Mitzvah at Temple de Hirsch Sinai

Yesterday was a very fun event for me, the first Bat Mitzvah that I have photographed in over two years!  Just as with weddings, Covid put a major crimp into celebrations like Bat and Bar Mitzvahs.  So thousands of teens either had small semi private ceremonies, or put off their big day unitl family and friends would be able to attend.

Lucinda’s ceremony took place at the Temple dr Hirsch Sinai in Seattle, a large temple that can seat hundreds of people.  I have photographed Mitzvahs here with more than 300 people in attendance.  As you can see from the photo above, this was a considerably smaller crowd!
