A few weeks ago I had a wonderful engagement photo session with Sue and Shahanun and their daughter Rose at the Bellevue Botanical Garden, one of my favorite locations for outdoor photo sessions on the Eastside. Both Sue and Shahanun are relative newcomers to the Seattle area, and are still discovering the area. So it was a lot of fun to introduce them to the Garden.
We took a leisurely stroll through the Garden grounds, taking photos wherever things looked nice. Which means pretty often, because many flowers were still in bloom and everything was gorgeous. I was especially pleased that we lucked out and the number of visitors was fairly low, so we did not have to deal with what I call “unintentional photo bombers” managing to find their way into our photos.
I will be photographing Sue and Shahanun’s wedding in just a few weeks, and I’m looking forward to working with the couple again; I just hope the weather gods are as kind for the wedding conditions in late October as they were for this session!
Here are a few photos from the session. You can see more engagement photos on my site, just click on this link.
