Seattle area family photos at Lake Forest Park

Three years ago I was the photographer at Lori and Patricks wedding, held in Lake Forest Park. I offer all of the couples whose weddings I photograph a completely free “first baby” photo shoot, and Lori got in touch several months ago to let me know that they had a new daughter and wanted to schedule a session. It took awhile to make it happen, but last weekend we met at the park across the street from the church where Patrick and Lori were married for some photos.

Daughter Ruby was wonderful, very smiley and just a super happy baby who seemed to enjoy the attention of the photo session. What a cutie!

I always love these sessions, since they allow me to catch up with couples as well as meet the new addition to their family. I hope that I will be able to meet up with the Johnson family again in the not too distant future for more photos, it will be a lot of fun to watch Ruby as she grows up!
