Joanne & John - Engagement photos at U of Washington

Joanne and John are a couple whose wedding I will be photographing next September. We had discussed taking engagement photos during the spring if the weather cooperated, and Joanne thought that getting some spring blooming trees in the photos would be fun. So I met Joanne and John at the University of Washington to take some engagement photos on campus, hoping to take advantage of the cherry trees that were blooming. But we were a bit surprised to find that a LOT of other people had the same idea to see (and photograph) the cherry trees, and there were ~1000 people in the area with the trees. So we made the best of it and got some nice photos, and also did a bit of wandering around the campus looking for other good spots for some photos. Here is a small sample of the results
