Very Happy First Anniversary Wishes to Michelle and Jason

I’d like to take this opportunity to pass on my wishes for a Happy First Wedding Anniversary to Jason and Michelle, married one year ago today at the Seattle Municipal Courthouse.  Wow, that seems like a LOT longer than a year ago!  This was the last “non-Covid” wedding that I photographed in 2020; though I did photograph several weddings since then all were conducted under very different circumstances and rules.

This was a fairly typical elopement wedding at the Seattle Courthouse, though because it was the end of the month there were a larger number of couples than usual waiting to get married.  It was also a rather wet day, which limited us a bit in being able to take outdoor photos, or to have the wedding ceremony on the outdoor balcony; a fantastic location for an elopement ceremony with tremendous views of the city and Puget Sound.

Fortunately the indoor views at the Courthouse are almost as good as being outside, and we had a very nice ceremony with a great view but without getting soaked by the wet weather!
