Gezeel and Dustin’s Fantastic Seattle Evening Engagement Session

A couple of weeks ago I had the great pleasure of workignwith Dustin and Gezeel on their engagement photos.  The original plan was to meet at Kerry Park about 6:30PM for some photos, then to move ion to Discovery Park for more photos and to hopefully catch the sunset while there.

Of course, things did not play out as planned!  When we arrived at Kerry Park it was raining, and not lightly.  And it did not look like it was going to stop anytime soon.  So we talked it over and decided to go straight to Discovery Park, hoping that it was far enough away that it might be dry there.

It was a good plan, but when we arrived at the beach at Discovery Park it was still raining lightly.  We decided to go ahead and start taking photos anyway, since it looked like the weather was improving.  This proved to be a good decision as the rain soon stopped and we had a beautiful evening to work with.

After thoroughly exploring the beach and a nearby patch of Lupin, we drove back to Kerry Park and were there as the sun set and gave some wonderful light to the Space Needle and downtown Seattle.
