Happy First Anniversary Allison and Matthew

I’d like to send slightly belated Happy First Wedding Anniversary wishes to Allison and Matthew, who managed to get married last summer during a slight lull in the Covid madness. By virtue of the fact that this couple decided they were going to do whatever it took, they had a fantastic wedding and reception despite what seemed to be overwhelming forces against them. I have huge respect for couples like Matthew and Allison who find a way to have their wedding regardless of the challenges.  Yes, they had to make some big changes to their plans; the number of guests was greatly reduced, the reception location had to be moved, and more.  But they persevered and had a fantastic wedding.  And for anyone who might be wagging their fingers in disapproval and muttering something about “superspreaders”, they had an extremely well thought out plan including temperature checks of all guests, masks when appropriate and more.  And there were no cases of Covid reported as the result of attending this wedding.

Congratulations to Allison and Matthew, both for the milestone of their first anniversary and also for having the determination to make the wedding happen in the first place.
