Summer just keeps cruising along, hard to believe that August is almost at an end. I remember last summer’s wedding of Richelle and Lance very well; summer was winding down, but we were still in the middle of a streak of gorgeous weather. Richelle and Lance’s wedding was a bit different than most that I photograph, because they came all the way from Fairbanks Alaska to get married in Seattle. Not a short trip! You can see my original blog post of Richelle and Lance’s Seattle Wedding by clicking on this link. Lots of photos as well as the rundown of the day.
Besides themselves Lance and Richelle also brought with them their 4 children, Amelia, Ethan, Joaquin, & Ariana. The day of the wedding we first met up at Kerry Park on Queen Ann Hill to take some photos of the family plus a couple of friends who were acting as the honor attendants for the wedding ceremony. Seattle traffic was particularly nasty that afternoon, and Richelle and some of the kids got trapped while the rest of us were admiring the view at Kerry Park. But Richelle did finally make it to the park and we had a great photo session before moving on to Restaurant Zoe on Capital Hill for the wedding ceremony and reception. Fortunately the only drama of the day was our slightly delayed start at Kerry Park, otherwise everything went great!
I have put one photo here from the day for everyone to see, but you’re going to have to click on the link above if you want to see everything. I hope you visit and learn more about the day!
